Post Certificate in Digital Marketing

21 Credits, 21 Weeks

The Post Certificate in Digital Marketing (PCDM) program is designed to provide students with relevant global industry validated digital marketing content as well as innovative courses that lead to both a post certificate and globally-recognized industry certification.

Through dynamic content modules that are designed to enhance and accelerate learning through the combination of creative video presentations, proven industry practice and learning exercises, students are provided with a unique learning experience that will enable them to acquire and demonstrate a strong foundation in digital marketing. The content modules are designed to cover the main concepts, techniques and skills that are required to develop, plan and implement an effective and successful digital marketing strategy. In addition, students will be provided with access to digital marketing resources that will enhance student skill-development and understanding which, in turn, will enable students to accelerate their learning and command of the practical and technical concepts being demonstrated by instructors and leading digital marketing practitioners.

The PCDM is designed for students who have already successfully completed an academic credential, such as a diploma and/or degree, but have decided to acquire new technical knowledge and in-demand skills as a means of changing the trajectory of their career or academic studies. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be qualified to write the DMI certification exam required to become a Certified Digital Marketing Professional, a global certification that is internationally recognized as the gold standard for digital marketing by accrediting authorities.

The PCDM will provide access to quality post-certificate education programming for students from both local and international destinations and will enable students to study in VPC’s supportive multi-cultural learning environment. This program will enable students to develop the essential skills necessary to succeed in the global digital marketing field while also equipping them with both the knowledge and skills required to transition their careers and academic studies, and/or, to improve both their current and future employment prospects. The significant impact of DMI’s certification on its membership speaks to the value of the certification as it directly relates to employability with 95% of DMI’s certified members employed; 81% of their certified members having been promoted after they earned their certification; and, 88% are currently working at a senior or management level within their respective organizations.
