Designation

Vancouver Premier College of Arts and Science, Vancouver Premier College of Business and Management and Vancouver Premier College of Hotel Management are designated by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) under the BC Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. Designated institutions must go through a rigorous evaluation and approval process of their programs, facilities, policies and staff. The designation provides quality assurance to our students as well as to employers who hire our graduates.

British Columbia EQA Designation

Vancouver Premier College of Arts and Science, Vancouver Premier College of Business and Management and Vancouver Premier College of Hotel Management have also received British Columbia’s Education Quality Assurance (“EQA”) Designation. British Columbia’s EQA is the first and only provincial brand that is globally recognized as a symbol of quality education and consumer protection for higher education.

Quality Matters (QM)

Quality Matters is globally recognized as the gold standard for certifying the quality of online courses and programs. Supported by more than 60,000 members, QM continues to conduct research, expand its offerings and cultivate a community of professionals who are dedicated to quality assurance in online learning. As a subscribing member, our independently established colleges have utilized QM’s practically proven rubrics, tools and practices to improve the quality of online instruction through our “Becoming a Master Instructor” program, a professional online teaching program that is now a requirement for all of our instructors.

Digital Marketing Institute (DMI)

Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) is an internationally recognized authority on digital marketing programs and accreditation. As a global certification body, DMI helps to set the standard for digital marketing education and in so doing, helps to address the growing digital skills shortage by assisting individuals from across the globe to up-skill and kick-start their careers. DMI works with universities, colleges and technical institutes as well as industry leaders such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and IBM, to validate course content, identify global trends and skills-related frameworks and competencies. Our independently established colleges have partnered with DMI to deliver its industry validated digital marketing content and programs as part of our core curriculum.

The American Hotel &
Lodging Educational Institute

Our hospitality and hotel management courses have been informed with content provided by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI). This assures students that Vancouver Premier College of Hotel Management’s curriculum is consistent with the high standards established by leading hospitality academics and industry professionals. Accordingly, students at Vancouver Premier College of Hotel Management can earn AHLEI course certificates which are widely recognized in 130 countries. Having an industry-endorsed curriculum ensures that our graduates have the proper training and knowledge to meet the needs of employers in this dynamically evolving industry.

Planning your post-secondary education can feel overwhelming, but there are many resources available to make it easier. To receive student financial assistance, you must meet all of these basic eligibility criteria: be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or have protected person status; have a valid Canadian social insurance number; be a resident of British Columbia; be pursuing full-time studies as your primary occupation; be enrolled in an eligible program of study at an eligible post-secondary institution; be able to demonstrate financial need; make academic progress and achieve satisfactory scholastic standing in each period of post-secondary study.
