Advanced Writing & Research

The purpose of this course is to help students advance their writing skills. Accordingly, this course teaches students how to; write clearly and intelligently; understand and employ the conventions of various forms of post-secondary education writing assignments; read actively and critically; appreciate diverse and inclusive works of imaginative literature; and think creatively and reflectively. This course also helps prepare students for further work at the post-secondary level and for successful employment if they choose to enter the workforce.
