Our College Careers

Our Colleges are committed to employment diversity and equality in the workplace.

Recently expanded to address increasing student demand for quality post-secondary education programs in Canada, our Colleges offer courses in Arts and Science, Business and Management, and Hospitality and Hotel Management. Our certificates and diplomas have been designed in accordance with rigorous Canadian and international academic standards and are approved and regulated by the Private Training Institutions Branch of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training in the Province of British Columbia.

Instructors

Our Colleges are quality-oriented and teaching focused and consequently, teaching experience is considered a vital requirement for multi-year defined term teaching appointments. The academic research supported by our Colleges supports continuous improvement in teaching methods and the realization of student success outcomes. While we encourage instructors to engage in scholarly activities, we expect them to fully utilize the feedback that they receive through their annual evaluation process to improve their overall effectiveness. Applicants for instructor positions should have a related doctoral degree, or a Masters’ degree combined with significant relevant post-secondary education teaching and/or directly relevant work experience. Additional industry experience and/or professional certification will also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Academic Administrators

To ensure effective and efficient administration and operation, our Colleges require highly qualified and motivated academic and operational administrators. Similar to the qualifications established for instructional positions, candidates for administrative positions should possess the appropriate credential at the required level of achievement. Candidates for academic leadership positions require a Doctoral degree or at a minimum, a Masters’ degree in a relevant discipline combined with significant administration experience in an academic institution.

Staff

Our staff reflect the diverse culture of our Colleges and are the face or public image of our Colleges to our students, prospective students and the public. Our staff make significant contributions to student success and facilitate our success. Continuing and part-time staff work in a positive work environment where collaboration and cooperation are valued.
