UBC Geering Up Engineering Outreach and Vancouver Premier College of Arts and Science are thrilled to partner in offering an exciting opportunity for high school students interested in quantum computing and cybersecurity!

  What: HolisTech Engineers Camp
  When: August 19-23, 2024
  Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily
  Where: Vancouver Premier College of Arts and Science, #103 – 5300 No. 3 Road, Richmond, BC V6X 2X9 (Outside entrance above JYSK)
  Cost: FREE for eligible students

This exclusive, week-long camp is designed for Grade 10-12 students. Here’s your chance to:

• Delve into the world of engineering and technology holistically
• Learn basic coding concepts and apply them to electrical and civil engineering challenges
• Explore circuitry, breadboarding, and work with Arduinos
• Get an introduction to Python programming
• Discover how quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity will shape our future
• Engage in hands-on STEAM activities
• Connect with like-minded peers and industry experts

This HolisTech Engineers camp is a collaboration between UBC Geering Up and Vancouver Premier College of Arts and Science, offering an immersive engineering journey for aspiring young minds.

 Eligibility:
• Students in Grades 10-12
• Demonstrate financial need through a brief ethical assessment
• Limited to 20 spots – apply early!

Camp Details:
• Two expert instructors will guide you through an immersive learning experience
• Small group setting with a maximum of 20 participants ensures personalized attention
• No cost to participants, making advanced tech education accessible to all
