Olivia New

Dr. Olivia New holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Nottingham University (UK) and BSc from the University College London (UK). Dr. New has extensive post-secondary education experience in the BC public system as a Chemist and faculty member at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. New has extensive experience in curriculum development and maintenance of academic programs and standards; evaluation of curricula, teaching methods and programs to determine their effectiveness; and alignment of academic courses and programs with learning objectives. She also has demonstrated expertise in the design, development and implementation of inquiry, interest and project-based Student-Centered Learning concepts that are integrated through the application of engineering design processes and technologies that enable achievement of superior student learning outcomes.
