This course facilitates learning among students through discussions of emerging theories such as the full self-concept mode, workplace emotions, social identify theory, global mindset, four-drive theory, Schwartz’s values model, employee engagement, learning orientation, social and information processing characteristics of job design as well as many other topics and issues. The instructor makes the course content more relevant by connecting real-world examples and practices to emerging theories through citations in dozens of articles, books and other sources.
