Managerial Accounting

This course examines the concepts of managerial accounting, techniques for managerial planning and control as well as the use of accounting information to help managers make better business decisions. The course identifies the three basic functions managers must perform: 1) plan operations, 2) control activities, and 3) make decisions, explains what accounting information is required for these functions as well as how to properly collect and interpret it.
